Enjoy a Week of Adventure with Shellby & Friends at Cayman Turtle Centre’s Winter Break Camp. Learn about turtles, sharks, birds, and more; explore the wildlife and splash in the pool. Campers can even take part in a private turtle release.

CI$220 for all 4 days or CI$85 per day

A complimentary shuttle service is now available. Open to children age 5-12 years.

COVID-19 Policy:

  • All current COVID-19 regulations, protocols, and additional safety measures will be followed.
  • Children will be required to take a lateral flow test each morning and report a negative result on arrival. LFT kits (one per day) will be provided by CTCEC and are included in the camp fees.
  • Children will be required to wear a mask while at camp.
  • Group sizes will be limited to allow for increased social distancing.
  • Children should not attend camp if they are experiencing any cold/flu symptoms (regardless of LFT result).

Camper groups are 5-8 and 9-12

Nicknames, pet names or the name the camper is most comfortable with. For example, if Camper Christopher prefers to be called “Chris” or goes by a pet or nickname like “Casey” instead of Christopher – please provide this for their ID Badge.

As a parent or legal guardian, I hereby give permission for my child(ren) to participate in Camp Shellby 2022 Camp, hereby known as “The Camp” conducted by Cayman Turtle Conservation and Education Center Ltd. (CTCEC), Grand Cayman. By checking the “I agree” box below and submitting this registration form, I understand that I, and the children(ren) in my care, are participating in a program, which includes certain risks in water & outdoor activities. I, and the child(ren) in my care, are voluntarily participating in this program and hold harmless The Camp and CTCEC and all staff of CTCEC and contracted staff from all responsibility of personal injury. I hereby waive any and all claims against The Camp, CTCEC, CTCEC staff or contracted staff for any damages, injuries, loss or liability, which may occur, during my child(ren) participation in this program. The person herein described has permission to engage in all prescribed activities except as noted. Camp activities may be documented with video and still photos and images of my child(ren) may be used in future public relations and advertising. I give The Camp and CTCEC permission to use those images and video for the purposes of advertising and public relations only.

I understand that my child will be required to wear a mask in accordance with Cayman Islands Government regulations for the control and suppression of COVID-19. I agree that my child will undertake daily lateral flow tests and provide a negative result each day in order to attend the camp. I understand that my child should not attend camp if they are experiencing any cold/flu symptoms (regardless of LFT result).
